The first big festival of the year was a huge sucess for HGL face painting. This year we hope summer will be gracious to us and grant us some great weather… Here are a few pics from last weekend!

Ahhh, Friday evening in my hometown at the market! I love Mountlake Terrace… the feel of this community makes me happy, it’s very friendly and open. I bring face paints, glitter tattoos, hair tinsel and feather hair extensions to brighten up all our PNW days! There’s also a honey vendor, lavendar products, artisan jewlery, flowers, kettle corn, seeds, nuts, produce, brick oven pizza, sno-cones and of course, the Red Onion with some mouth watering food!

As I’m ordering more supplies I am prompted to say a word about quality here. Please be aware that not all artists will be using safe products, please do your research when considering a face painter. You can find more info on the safety of our products on the “about” page.
Also, please look at the example photos! If you want to get what you ask for… A unicorn or a tiger, and you want it to look what it’s supposed to look like, you’ll need to make sure the artist you are hiring can do this. The quality of work varies from artist to artist, shop around, look at pictures.

Spring is here… technically. The snow yesterday made me wonder a little bit. Anyways, I am always longing for festival season and warm summer days and lots of face painting at festivals and fairs! I’m getting together my line up for this season and am excited for all the color and sparkle that’s going to happen this year.
